A very special milestone for Theory Five Photography
We are incredibly proud to announce that Theory Five Photography has been named the 2026 Landscape Photography Specialists of the Year through the Prestige Awards Australia.
This is a huge honour for us and a particularly meaningful recognition of the work, passion and dedication that goes into every photograph we create.
Landscape photography has always been at the heart of Theory Five Photography. From the vast and diverse landscapes of Australia to the spectacular mountains, lakes and alpine environments of New Zealand and beyond, our goal has always been to capture more than simply a beautiful view.
We aim to capture a feeling — the atmosphere, character and sense of place that makes a destination memorable.
Receiving this award is an incredibly proud moment and a wonderful acknowledgement of the direction Theory Five Photography is taking.
A Journey Built Around Photography
Photography has been a major part of our journey for approximately 15 years, and Theory Five Photography represents the next chapter in that journey.
Over recent years, we have continued to develop our photographic style, explore new destinations and build a growing collection of landscape, wildlife, nature and travel imagery.
Our work is now also expanding into commercial, tourism, hospitality, corporate and editorial photography, allowing us to bring our approach to visual storytelling to businesses, destinations, accommodation providers and brands.
Looking Forward
While we are incredibly proud to receive this recognition, we see it as the beginning of the next chapter rather than the destination.
We will continue exploring Australia and international destinations, developing our landscape and wildlife collections, creating fine-art photography and taking on exciting new commissions and commercial projects.
We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has supported Theory Five Photography so far — whether you've purchased a print, followed our work, shared a photograph, recommended us to someone, worked with us on a project or simply taken the time to appreciate what we create.
Thank you.
This award belongs to a journey that wouldn't be possible without that support.
We can't wait to see where the next chapter takes us.
